Yes. Scotty is fully qualified, licensed, and registered in New South Wales as a Timber Pest Inspector (conforming to AS 3660 and AS 4349.3 guidelines). We carry comprehensive Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance for your peace of mind.
Yes. We service food outlets, cafes, restaurants, offices, retail showrooms, industrial warehouses, schools, and farm boundaries throughout the Griffith area. We provide tailored pest management reports that satisfy health department compliance checks.
No chemical treatments are permanently active. Because treatments are exposed to environmental conditions like rain, heat, and UV rays, their chemical structure slowly degrades over time. Standard exterior sprays typically remain active for 6 to 12 months. Termite chemical soil barriers last up to 5 to 8 years, but annual checks are crucial to confirm termites haven't bridged the barrier.
We are based in Griffith, NSW, and cover a 150km service radius. This includes Yoogali, Hanwood, Beelbangera, Yenda, Bilbul, Goolgowi, Leeton, Whitton, Darlington Point, Narrandera, Hillston, and Coleambally. If you are outside this area, contact Scotty to discuss travel options.
Yes. We use premium, water-based synthetic pyrethroid treatments that mimic natural insect-repelling compounds found in marigolds. They are designed to target insects specifically. Once the treated areas have completely dried (typically 1 to 2 hours), they are entirely safe for children, dogs, cats, and birds.
For a standard exterior treatment, you do not need to leave the house. For internal sprays, we recommend stepping out for 1 to 2 hours while the treatment is being applied and dried. If you have infant children, are pregnant, or have respiratory issues like severe asthma, we recommend staying out of the treated rooms for 3 to 4 hours as a precaution.
To help us perform the most thorough application, we recommend:
- Moving toys, pet bowls, and clothes inside or away from foundations.
- Clearing items away from interior skirtings where possible.
- Covering fish tanks and turning off air pump filters.
- Ensuring windows are closed before exterior treatment begins.
